Team India scripted another historic milestone on the cricket field. India became the first country in the world to win 200 T20 matches, achieving the feat after defeating Japan in a thrilling encounter on Tuesday.

India secured their first T20 victory in 2006 in Johannesburg. Their 50th win came against Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2017, while their 100th victory was recorded against the West Indies in Kolkata in 2022. In 2024, India registered their 150th T20 win against Australia.

The Indian team reached the landmark of 200 victories after playing 291 matches, further cementing its dominance in the shortest format of the game.

Pakistan currently stands second on the list, having secured 174 wins in 299 matches. New Zealand occupy third place with 137 victories from 267 matches. South Africa have recorded 131 wins in 235 matches, while England have registered 130 victories in 233 matches.

With this historic achievement, India have once again underlined their remarkable consistency and success in T20 cricket.
