India Drawn in Group E for AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers

India have been placed in Group E of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers, alongside Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore and Guam. The group draw was held on Thursday at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur.

India Drawn in Group E for AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers

XtraTime Web Desk: India have been placed in Group E of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers, alongside Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore and Guam. The group draw was held on Thursday at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur.

The tournament will be played from November 11 to 20 in a single round-robin format, with all Group E matches scheduled to take place in Malaysia.

India will begin their campaign against Singapore on November 11. They will face Guam in their second match on November 14, followed by a clash against Palestine on November 17. The Indian team will conclude the group stage against hosts Malaysia on November 20.

A total of 35 teams have been divided into seven groups for the qualification stage. The winners of each group will qualify for the final tournament.

The AFC U-17 Asian Cup final tournament will be held in Uzbekistan from May 12 to 29, 2027.

India will be aiming to qualify for the final tournament for the second consecutive time. A successful qualification would also mark India's 11th appearance in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup final tournament.
