East Bengal have made a sensational start to the ISL, defeating Churchill Brothers 4-0 and Inter Kashi 5-1 to maintain their impressive form. Now, they face a different mission. The focus shifts back to the AFC Champions League Two, as they take on Omani club Al Seeb on Tuesday in Oman.

How much of a problem is it? The four goal-scorers from the Inter Kashi match spoke about it. Ahead of the AFC fixture, midfield heartbeat Dani Ramirez made it clear that champions have no excuses.
Ramirez said, “The unity of this team is our strength. Everyone is playing for the team. Coach Habas has created a fantastic team spirit in the dressing room. So far this season, I have scored the opening goal for the team on four occasions. As a senior player, I take my responsibilities very seriously. Tuesday is a very important match. The schedule is tough, but champions have no excuses. We want three points.”
Meanwhile, PV Vishnu said, “It feels great to score the first goal of the ISL season. Coach Habas has given me the freedom to play my natural game and the confidence to express myself. Now our focus is on Al Seeb. I hope I can make an impact.”
Ivory Coast striker A.K. Loba, who scored twice against Inter Kashi, said, “I am grateful to Coach Habas and the management for giving me the opportunity to start. I was involved in four of the team's five goals. It is very important to make a good start to the league as champions. We played well in our previous two ACL Two matches but could not win. I hope we can produce a good result against the Omani club.”
And then there is Polish striker Lukas Zvolinski, who also scored in that match. He said, “I have to give credit to Economidis for my goal. He provided a fantastic assist.”
Zvolinski made it clear that Tuesday's clash is a must-win match for East Bengal.
