New history for FIFA: winning the World Cup will now earn a special championship ring

The winners of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will receive more than just the iconic trophy and gold medals. For the first time in FIFA history, the world champions will also be awarded specially designed Championship Rings, introducing a tradition long associated with American sports to international football.

One of the standout features of these rings is a miniature replica of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. Each ring will be individually customized with the name of the winning team and personalized for the player who receives it.
