Neymar injury update: Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti says star will be available next week
Neymar is expected to be available for Brazil's World Cup game against Scotland next week in Miami

XtraTime Newsdesk: Following his team's dominating World Cup win over Haiti on Friday, Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti provided an update on his star midfielder, Neymar.
Ancelotti told reporters at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia that Neymar is expected to be available for Brazil's World Cup game against Scotland next week in Miami, and that he will continue to train individually tomorrow at the Seleção's training complex in Morris Township, New Jersey.
"Neymar will train tomorrow individually and then with the rest of the group. He will be available for Scotland," Ancelotti said.
Brazil picked up its first win of the tournament Friday against Haiti, with Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha recording a brace in 13 minutes in the first half. With three points, Seleção is tied with Morocco for first place in the Group C standings with four points and a 1-1-0 record, though Brazil holds the goal-differential tiebreaker for the top spot in the bracket.
Neymar has been sidelined with a calf injury he sustained with his club team, Santos FC. He was sidelined for Brazil's two friendly matches during the lead-up to the World Cup and for Brazil's opener vs. Morocco last Saturday at MetLife Stadium.
The injury was expected to keep him out for "two to three weeks." In recent days, Neymar has been on the field training individually to ramp up his condition, which Ancelotti said he'll continue to do tomorrow when Brazil returns to the field at the Columbia Park Training Facility.
Brazil will have some time off before traveling down to Miami Gardens to take on Scotland on Wednesday, June 24. Brazil and Scotland will face each otuer at the Hard Rock Stadium on June 24, in which will be both team's final Group C stage play matches.
